Per the CLAC bylaws, each member institution assigns a Primary Rep and an Alternate Rep.
Typically, the Primary Representative should be the highest ranking IT leader at the institution (typically the CIO) and serves as the primary contact person for each of the requirements of membership, as well as all official communications and any other official business between the institution and the Consortium.
The Alternate Representative is a senior-level IT director or similar and serves as backup to the Primary Rep when needed.
