One of the ways the Consortium of Liberal Arts Colleges (CLAC) represents its members is through its special relationship with the Oberlin Group. Our parallel organizations have a common history going back to 1985, when 50 college and university presidents met to discuss science and technology education.
While CLAC supports liberal education arts through its exploration of IT, the Oberlin Group is focused on library excellence, operations and services. Our organizations complement each other in many ways, and a number of our members participate in the Oberlin Group as well. While our missions are unique, ongoing collaboration and partnership is essential to both organizations.
